TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
