Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
